At CCJ, we believe that science laboratories are very essential in promoting our students’ scientific knowledge and education because they involve students in hands-on experiments, they supply detailed information that students need to acquire about different scientific topics, and they arouse students’ interest in science by providing training in observation and theoretical concepts that are hard to grasp without application.

Our school houses two biochemistry laboratories and three physics laboratories (two traditional and one EXAO). 

These labs help students:

• Measure observable phenomena, which is difficult with conventional equipment
• Collect and analyze data
• Link scientific theories to real hands-on experiments/application
• Experiment with the graphical display of data
• Use videos and interpret them
• Develop responsibility, critical thinking, autonomy, and leadership skills
