Kadmous Group

Kadmous Scout Group was established at Central College in 1969 under the banner of the Lebanese Scout Association (LSA). The group consists of 160 members distributed over 6 units. The management of the group consists of 11 scout leaders.

The units are distributed as follows:

  • Cubs and Brownies (age 8 to 11)
  • Scouts and Guides  (age 12 to 16)
  • Rovers and Caravelles (over 16 years)

Kadmous Scout Group holds three annual camps: A three- day Christmas Camp, a three-day Easter Camp, and a 15-day Summer Camp. In addition to these camps, other cultural, environmental and social events and activities are organized in Lebanon and beyond.

The mission of the group is to:

  • bring CCJ students together in activities and gatherings that foster their physical, social, and moral development;
  •  prepare them to become loyal citizens who care about their country, its people and environment;
  •  boost their agility and movement in order to create an active and healthy generation;
  • foster the spirit of scouting, unity, and collaboration to help the young generation play an active and efficient role in their society.  

The group gathers at Central College every Saturday from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Group Executive Committee meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
