SCHOOL UNIFORM
School Uniform and Physical Appearance

School Uniform

  1. The full school uniform should be worn tidily at school, at any place associated with the school, or during sessions and indoor/outdoor activities associated with the school.  The uniform must be purchased from the school shop.
  2. CCJ’s uniform consists of:

- a smock (Preschool students)

- CCJ’s pants, shirt, sweater/cardigan, and jacket (Elementary, Middle, High School, and Technical School students)

- The sports uniform is strictly worn on sports day and not on any other day. Students taking swimming lessons must bring a swimsuit, a towel, and a swimming cap in a bag, reserved for this purpose. 

- In addition to the school uniform, the following attire is permitted: a black, dark blue or white scarf; a dark blue or white round-neck T-shirt or a turtle neck of the same color worn under the school shirt; a black or dark blue belt.

- Students are allowed to wear black, dark blue, brown, or dark gray shoes, while Birkenstock, colored shoes, and Ugg boots are forbidden.

- Trainers are allowed only on sports days for students of the Elementary School.

- In case a situation arises concerning a student’s school uniform, the parents must notify the administration through a written request for temporary wearing of non-regulation dress items.

 

Physical Appearance:

Boys

  1. The haircut should be short and classic.
  2. Students have to shave every Monday.
  3. The following are forbidden: extravagant hairstyles, hair gel, beard, goatee, mustache, earrings, ear studs, piercings, and visible tattoos. 

Girls

  1. Girls must always tie their hair to the back. In case of short hair, it should be above the eyebrows and off the face.
  2. The following are forbidden: dyed hair, extravagant hairstyles, make-up, visible tattoos, piercings, long nails, nail polish, and accessories.
  3. Girls are allowed to wear one pair of small earrings (one earring in each ear).

N.B: Both boys and girls are allowed to wear a hand rosary and a neck chain with a cross.
